TITLE - BEVERAGE CART/TALON GRILL ATTENDANT

REPORTS TO: Director, Food & Beverage and Outlets Manager

DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for providing exceptional and courteous service to all guests, to ensure the complete “Eagles Nest experience”
  • Work scheduled shifts, and coming to work with uniform and all the tools required
  • Cash handling (responsible for own $100.00 float) any shortages employee will have to make up the difference
  • Highest standard of custom service
  • Ability to know when not to serve guests who have exceeded the legal alcohol limit
  • Use Jonas to ring in all orders
  • Proper cash handling procedures
  • Balance cash and credit cards at end of day (Server Report)
  • Open and close inventory of the Beverage Cart
  • Restock product and supplies and notifying manager of items needed
  • Clean and maintain the appearance of the Beverage Cart inside and out (includes all compartments, plexiglass, stainless steel).
  • Assist Halfway House Attendants with stocking and restocking house and covering breaks
  • Ensure all garbage and recycling is taken to Refuse House.
  • Ensure cart is running properly and efficiently and notify manager on duty if there are any problems
  • Complete a daily cart inspection before and after each shift
  • Perform and execute any other duties requested by your Food and Beverage Management Team.
  • This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Smart serve certified
  • Good understanding of food and beverage industry
  • Computer skills - Jonas experience preferred

TITLE - BANQUET SERVER

REPORTS TO: Director, Food & Beverage and Outlets Manager

DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for providing exceptional, courteous, and prompt service to all guests, to ensure the complete “Eagles Nest experience”
  • Work scheduled shifts and coming to work with uniform and all the tools required to perform duties.
  • Highest standard of custom service
  • Ensure prompt service and attending to the needs of the guests
  • Set up and tear down banquet hall (refer to Banquet Event Order floor plan)
  • Ability to know when not to serve guests who have exceeded the legal alcohol limit
  • Move chairs/tables/stages
  • Set tables fully (refer to Banquet handbook)
  • Sort and put linen away
  • Assist fellow co-workers with severing, clearing tables and covering breaks
  • Ensure all garbage and recycling is taken to Refuse House and dirty plates and cutlery taken to dish pit and dirty linen to Receiving Bay
  • Ensure kitchen servery is cleaned and restocked at end of shift
  • Ensure banquet equipment is running/working efficiently and notifying manager on duty if there are any problems
  • Perform and execute any other duties requested by your Food and Beverage Management Team
  • This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program

QUALIFICATIONS:

TITLE - BANQUET PREP COOK

REPORTS TO: Executive Chef

DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare food and maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen
  • Communicate orally and in writing, ability to learn, take initiative, Plan, Organize and adapt
  • Prepares, seasons, and cooks, (by appropriate method as specified and laid out by management) food products, ensuring proper cooking techniques are used and adhered too
  • Make sauces as required (beurre blanc, tomato, and vinaigrette dressings)
  • Marinate and store meat and fish
  • Carry out specific duties as required by 1st cook, chef de partie, and chefs
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach to everything that is done, including attitude towards fellow employees, management and guests.
  • Anticipate misconceptions or confusions and correct them before they become problems.
  • Share and get information in order to prevent problems.
  • Use kitchen equipment, in proper manner, taking care not to abuse or misuse any of it

TITLE – DISHWASHER/PREP COOK

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage/Outlets Manager/Executive Chef

DESCRIPTION:

  • Operate dishwashers efficiently and responsibly to wash dishes
  • Wash glassware and flatware
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when required
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Operate pot/ cutlery washing machines
  • Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
  • Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products
  • Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
  • Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
  • General dish area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
  • This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent

TITLE – Facilities Technician (Cleaner)

STATUS – Full Time

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

DESCRIPTION:

The hired candidate must be available Monday to Friday, weekends optional, assisting in daily tasks during the golf season, as well as the off-season.  We are looking to fulfill this position immediately.

  • Responsible for ensuring all Clubhouse and outdoor spaces are cleaned throughout the day including event spaces and additional spaces when required.
  • Duties to include, but not limited to: vacuuming & disinfecting/cleaning public spaces.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of outdoor space around the Clubhouse.
  • Clean & disinfect washrooms both in the Clubhouse and on golf course until end of season.
  • Clean Great Hall after event/functions including vacuuming, wash tile floors, disinfect high touch areas and additional services when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Cleaning Experience preferred
  • Drivers License preferred

TITLE – GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE

STATUS – Seasonal

REPORTS TO: Director, Turf Operations

DESCRIPTION

  • Operating walk-behind mowers to cut tees, approaches, and greens
  • Daily course set-up, including changing holes, tee block placement, garbage collection
  • Use of line trimmers, push mowers, hedgers, backpack and handheld blowers
  • Maintenance of the bunkers using hand rakes, landscape rakes and shovels
  • Operating of tow-behind blowers, utility vehicles, and some riding equipment
  • Ball mark repairs, filling of divots and range maintenance
  • May be asked to assist in irrigation or drainage repair as well as other large improvement projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous golf course or landscaping experience is an asset but not necessary
  • Comfortable with working outdoors in different weather conditions
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to do moderate lifting

  • Responsible for overseeing Food & Beverage activities with the guidance of the Outlets Managers
  • Work with the Outlets Manager, to ensure the implementation of the highest guest service and food quality standards
  • Participate in the operation of Lago, Jim & Garry’s Pub, Halfway House and/or banquet facilities
  • Enforce Standards, Practices and Policies for Food & Beverage Outlets
  • Maintain cost controls for Food & Beverage menu items
  • Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage etiquette
  • Some knowledge of wine characteristics and proper wine opening
  • Enforce new Food & Beverage concepts
  • Communicate management goals and objectives to inspire employees

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • Minimum 2 year in supervisory role
  • Experience at properties of similar size and quality
  • Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage control systems, the ability to work well under pressure, and a positive attitude

TITLE – GOLF SERVICES TECHNICIAN

STATUS – Seasonal

REPORTS TO: Golf Operations Manager/Assistant Professional

DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensure golf carts are set up each day with score card, yardage book, tees, water and pencil on every vehicle.
  • Ready golf carts for tournaments with cart plates and gifts etc.
  • Make sure all clubs are cleaned when unloaded from cart and put on club pick up rack.
  • Ensure the cart staging area and parking lot are clean at all times
  • Maintain the professional presentation of the practice facilities at all times
  • Loading and unloading of golf carts.
  • Service bag drop and pick up areas to ensure guests are being looked after.
  • Ensure carts are stored in assigned charging bays with correct charger in place.
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cart fleet maintenance program with Manager and ensure carts are clean and in good working order.
  • Wash and dry off carts every day, ArmourAll tires and place cart on charge.
  • Keep back shop clean and tidy, empty garbage regularly.
  • Recycle all cans, glass and paper products as directed
  • Facilitate regular driving range picks and make sure balls are washed and in good condition before stocking range.
  • Separate fit balls and range balls for the Titleist Fitting Centre
  • Opening and closing of backshop.
  • Report damage from misuse or by accident to golf carts, golf course, practice facility and club buildings by staff or guests to senior staff members.
  • When required, assist professional staff in all areas of golf operations.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies (scorecards, pencils, tees etc.) and report to senior staff members.
  • This position is classified as safety sensitive, defined in accordance with our fit for duty program
